4-Hour Family Guardian Course

The 4-hour Guardian course provides the court-authorized instruction and training and meets the requirements
of s.744.3145(2), F.S., and to be a guardian. Guardianship Program of Dade County is officially an authorized provider
of Guardian Education under s.744.3145(4), F.S., in the Eleventh, Fifteenth, Sixteenth, and Tenth Judicial Circuits of Florida. For all other Circuits we recommend you ask you local Clerk of Court.
Please note this class is for Guardians of a minor only (not Guardians Ad Litem)

This is a Live Zoom Presentation. You will need to create a free Zoom account to attend.

Cost: $50.00.

If you register and do not attend, a $35.00 no show fee will apply if 24 hour notice is not provided in writing to guardiancourses@gpdc.org

Please note that 4 hour courses are held once every quarter for both English and Spanish and we only add the next date once the current available class is full. It is your responsibility to register within the 4 month timeframe given by most courts. Everyone who is listed on the letters of Guardianship and needs a certificate must register and pay.
